These words are as true today as they were in 1971 when they were written.
Hess Home Builders Inc. was started in 1964 by Walter Hess and sons Roy and John as a family organization. They began building a few custom homes each year. Land acquisition and development started a few years later and now under the guidance of Earl Hess, company president, and Clarke Hess, director of building operations, the company builds between 80 and 100 homes each year.
As we proudly pass our 40th year of building experience and building excellence, Hess Home Builders, Inc. continues a fine tradition of delivering high quality residences to families in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. The Hess Family has called Pennsylvania home for 11 generations now, and we count our good name and honest business practices among our most important assets. Starting with a few custom homes a year, Hess Home Builders has grown into one of the most prominent building firms in the area, establishing a reputation for quality, integrity and service well beyond today's building industry standards. Our company continues to prosper, with 45 communities to our credit in central Pennsylvania.
