Founded in 1964, Hess Home Builders is a family run business under the direction of second generation builder Earl Hess. Along with administrative issues, Earl currently oversees land development and financing, as well as direction of building operations. Vice President Clarke Hess assists clients during all phases of construction, from pinpointing the ideal design and making selections to providing feedback after construction begins. The Hess team understands that choosing a new home is one of life's most important decisions. If it is to represent honest value, it must be built well. Hess Homes has been featured in many publications over the years. A national magazine "BUILDER" praised Hess for their innovative and energy efficient passive solar designs in 1978. Hess was featured in "BUILDER-ARCHITECT" in March of 1986, May of 1995, and again in June of 2001. Hess was named "Builder of the Year" by the Building Industry Association in 1993.
